I love Once Upon A Child! I cannot go into this store without buying something! Great deals & customer service. The $1 clearance sales are the best. At the summer clearance event I got $63.50 of merchandise for only $11. The clothes were name brands including Gymboree & Ralph Lauren. It really made my day. I love shopping here for my kids. I also sell things here to purchase new items. Great store!

My daughter-in-law is pregnant & we went to just look to see what you carry. Let me tell you, it was awesome. The cribs & bouncers and all of the baby clothes! I walked out about 2 hours later with over $100.00 worth of merchandise & we filled 1/2 of the Expedition. I'm on my way back today and Aubrey isn't due to smile on the world until Nov. & this is only July :)

I just checked out Once Upon A Child for the first time yesterday while searching for footie PJs for my not so little girl. She's 4 months old and wearing 6 months outfits already. I searched several shops and just wasn't impressed by the price and selection. A friend told me about Once Upon A Child so I decided to check it out. I was so impressed by the selection and the CLEANLINESS!!! So many stores now a days just push their products and don't take care to keep the stores clean. Our San Antonio store smelled of fresh clean laundry, I didn't see any merchandise on the floor, and there wasn't dust anywhere. As a new mom my nose is still very sensitive, I feel relief knowing there is a store I can shop! LOVE LOVE LOVE the store, already posted my praise on my facebook :)

I discovered Once Upon A Child about three years ago, after the birth of my first grandchild. When she was about 5 months old, she and her Dad moved in with us and a couple of months later I became her legal guardian since her Dad was in the National Guard. Since money has always been tight for us, it was such a blessing to find Once Upon A Child. We no longer have guardianship but I still do lots of shopping at Once Upon a Child. My THIRD grandchild is due next month (plus I have two step-granddaughters), and I rarely, if ever, buy ANYTHING brand new (occasionally something on clearance from kmart for less than $2)! I have even bought baby shower gifts at Once Upon A Child... Why spend more when everything looks brand new? Babies grow so fast... Even though none of the grandchildren live with us anymore, we have a well-stocked closet and toy area for them. The girls really like the dress-up clothes and cooking and dining toys we got at Once Upon A Child - we have a tea party almost every time they come over!

Shopped at Once Upon A Child for the first time last week for my two month old. It was great! I got some great toys and clothes all on their Summer Clearance Sale. I only spent 12 dollars and got my son 5 sweatshirts, a pair of jeans, two clothing sets,two single t-shirts, and a couple used toys in great shape! All together it would have cost me $80 dollars there if not for the sale! Department stores, forget you!!

I started shopping at Once Upon a Child a few years ago after I was divorced and became a single mother of three small children ages 4, 2, and 6 weeks. It was extremely difficult to find clothes that were reasonably priced but would still hold up. My children love going to Once Upon a Child to find new clothes. Even now after putting myself through college and getting remarried I still shop at Once Upon a Child. I now have 4 children ages 10, 8, 6, and 16 months. We enjoy going through our old stuff and packing it up to take to Once Upon a Child so we can find new things. The kids love going school shopping and I love saving money. Once Upon a Child has been a lifesaver for my family.

Lovin this store. Got back to school jeans for CHEAP for my sasquach growing son and my petite daughter. Got footie pj's for the baby. Changing table pad, bassinette. Kids grow out of stuff so fast, it's almost stupid to pay full price for jeans for a boy who will grow out of them in a week. Love the play center too. No wandering children and I can keep my husband there too. LOL Maternity clothes, sheets, blankets, towels, and changing rooms. Just love it.

I absoluetly love this store. My daughter is 12 months, I have found that I absolutely love clothes shopping for her. At Once Upon A Child, I can get tons of stuff for a great price. My favorite is the close out seasonal goods. I just bought 50 items for only $50. Many of the clothes were name brand. Although, it doesn't really matter what the tag says, as long as it is cute. I also frequently shop for those holiday dresses that you find at a clothing store for about $20. I went shopping for an easter dress this year and ended up getting 5 for $20. Now that's a deal. Thank you Once Upon A Child for giving me the ability to shop without the guilt of a huge bill!

I just moved out to Ballwin from NY when I was 7 months pregnant. Not knowing what I was having was a drag, I went to every store to find unisex clothing but they all had the same product and I was looking for something different. So my mom told me about Once Upon A Child. I'm glad she did because before I had the baby I brought a whole bunch of cloths and yes they were unisex. On May 18, 2010 I give birth to a little girl Lia-Marie, and knowing that I had a girl it was on. I'm in the store at least 2 times a week and I love it. I love the store so much the prices are right, it has such a vast variety of cloths, and everyone there is so friendly. I love Once Upon A Child and I will see you later on in the week and on your sale day.

I am a single mother of an 11 month old little girl. I was so happy I found Once Upon A Child! My daughter grows out of everything so quick. I can go shopping for her at Once Upon A Child and spend 40 bucks and walk out with 2 bags full of clothes for her. One trip will fill her closet with more clothes then I have. The sales and their deals are amazing. This store is the reason I have been able to dress my daughter and keep up with her growth spurts and not have her running around in just her diaper. I'm pregnant with my first. My sister has twins that will be 10 months older than my boy. She had girl/boy twins so I was covered either way! Some items, however, will still be used by them when my baby comes. At Once Upon A Child, I landed the FP Little Lambs Cradle Swing in excellent, working condition for $60! It retails for $150. I had it on my registry, but who could pass up that deal? My friends and family can just pick something else from the registry. I expect to have to buy the more expensive things myself, anyway. I also landed a Secure and Close Sleeper for $10. It retails for $50 - $60. I had almost bought one from craigslist for $30. I'm falling in love with Once Upon A Child!

I went to the new Once Upon A Child store located in Duluth, GA and I had a blast. I went to sell baby items and ended up leaving with three bags of goodies for my daughter that's on the way. The staff was friendly, they helped me and my mother out a lot. Great prices and name brand clothing for dirt cheap...this has become my favorite store :)

I'd never been in this store before and when i found out i was pregnant in january of this year i decided i'd take a look. Boy am i glad i did!!! I found my little girls crib for only $80!!! This is a Graco crib too! Not to mention the onesies they have (TONS) and you can never have too many onesies! I'm planning on getting a stroller, bouncer, high chair, and plenty of other goodies here if i don't get them at my baby showers. I'm so very very glad i decided to stop in and take a look. :) I plan on buying a majority of my little girls clothes here when she's born (due Sept 8 2010) All the clothes are in great condition and some even have the original tags on them!! WOW!!

I had bought a skirt that ended up being too small for my daughter so I was returning! That is when I found that the clearance items that were marked 50% off last time I was there was now marked $1!! I am a mother of 3 on a tight budget and I breastfeed my newest addition who happens to want to be held ALL the time. After almost 2 months of not being able to do anything around the house and finding it difficult to always find a place to sit to feed him when he inevitably got hungry during shopping trips, I was absolutely desperate to find a wrap style baby carrier. I visited several local resale shops praying to find one. It turns out the first place I should have looked was Once Upon a Child. I not only found exactly what I was looking for, it was also a total steal! I found a wrap carrier for only $20! I bought several other items as well and ended up only spending about as much as I would have spent on buying a brand new wrap carrier from a retail store! I will definitely remember to go there first from now on!

Today was my first visit to Once Upon a Child and I was BLOWN AWAY at the clothes that I got for next to nothing. My boyfriend and I have a 10 year old son, a 5 year old daughter and we a expecting a new addition in August. The kids grow so quickly that it costs a small fortune to clothe them through the changing seasons and I was worried about adding another child (that will grow twice as quickly as the older kids) to the mix. My fears are now GONE. This will probably be the only place that we shop for the kids in the future. When we are buying name brand clothes at $2-$5 a piece, there's nowhere that compares. Thank you so much for helping families like ours afford nice clothing for our kiddos! Every city should have a Once Upon a Child!

I found out about Once Upon a Child when I was pregnant with my first 5 years ago. I bought maternity clothes there. After my first was born I went back to sell some clothes and pick up some items for my son. When he was 6 months old I found out number 2 was coming... I went back again for maternity clothes. I have purchased bassinets, toys, and clothes. But my biggest item was a Joovy sit and stand stroller retails for over a hundred for $45 and it came with the parent organizer that retails for 30.. So I think Once Upon A Child is a GREAT place!!!

I accidentally found your store & fell in love. My daughter & I were shopping away when a sales clerk came & let us know they weren't open to sell just to buy. So needless to say I was waiting for the grand opening, on pins & needles. We got there with my mom, Jillian my daughter in law who is expecting our first grandchild, Asher!! And his other Grandmommy, Karen!!! My mother was a bit overwhelmed, but the rest of us went in and got everything we wanted and then some. I heard about this store through a flyer at the daycare I work for. When my son Caleb was born in 2009 I decided to sell some of his expensive baby clothes and baby shower gifts that I could not return to the store. I have found great toys for him like a sleeping Winnie the Pooh toy and a Bouncing Tigger toy for only $3.00 each. I fell in love with this store because it helped me get a little extra income so I could buy my baby diapers and formula when he was a baby in between pay checks. I have told so many people about the store and now they are falling in love with the store as well. My husband helps me search for toys for Caleb every time we go to the store.

My youngest sister is having my first nephew, so I was excited about buying him clothes, but buying brand new just didn't make sense to me. I went to thrift stores, but those clothes are so worn out. I kept hearing this commercial on the radio about Once Upon a Child, and finally made my way to the OKC store. When I walked in, it was very well-organized and clean to boot! I had a wonderful time shopping for clothes for my unborn nephew, and I will continue to shop there for him, my future children, and whomever else I know who has a child for years to come. I recently shopped at the Tacoma, WA store looking for a very specific item. I needed a raincoat for my little 1 year old grandson who was going to visit, he lives in Chicago. Naturally my husband and I were excited about showing him the beautiful NW. But we knew he needed a RAINCOAT. I made so many calls to stores and no one had one. I lucked out, called the Tacoma store, which is about 55 miles away from my home. Alice answered the phone, I was in luck, she, not only found one for me, she held it for when I could get there. My husband and I drove up to the store on Memorial Day. Even though the store was closed, Alice met us there, opened up for us, she also found a pair of size 5 boots for us. What a gal. She was extremely helpful and fun to work with. My husband and I both had a great experience. Alice was awesome, she was so helpful. The Tacoma shop is awesome looking and I can't say enough positive things about both the shop and Alice. She was fun to work with, even told us where the closest DQ was located so my husband and I could get an ice cream cone on your journey back home. I would highly recommend anyone reading this note to first of all visit the NW, it is awesome, but when you come stop by the Store in Tacoma, you will find great items for sale and also a fantastic staff to help you. Once Upon A Child is awesome! They only have good quality, gentle used items at great prices. They have a selection of anything and almost everything you could want. It is so nice to have an alternative to spending money on new items, especially when you know that your child will not get a ton of use out of clothes, toys, etc. I really like that I have the option to bring in my son's things that he has outgrown, or does not play with anymore, and they will buy it from you! The staff at the location on 529 in Texas is always very nice and courteous. I am planning to go there today! I first went to Once Upon a Child when I was pregnant with my son. I bought most of my maternity clothes there and still have them. I also got a lot of valuable things for my son. I am pregnant with my second and plan on shopping there again for myself and the new little one. I love the fact that they care about the mom's too. They were very appreciative of everything I brought in & looked forward to her things whenever I came in. If they weren't able to purchase some things, they were very courteous & would leave me notes asking me to save her things until they were in season & bring them back in for purchase & complimented me on how well taken care of her clothes/items were. Many of my friends told me about Once Upon a Child and I finally made it to one of their stores. I was planning to buy a bumbo chair for my daughter (which retails for $40 in stores) and they had a plethra of colors to choose from for only $18). I was so excited I will definately be going back!! I just had my first experience with Once Upon A Child. My daughter loves Elmo. We are working on expanding her collection of Elmo movies. BUT- each movie is $10 or more at stores like Target. I was excited when I found Elmo movies for $1.40-$4, and she was excited to see "Melmo". She also loves to make a mess, so buying expensive clothes is worthless when she makes a mess and stains them. I love Once Upon A Child because I can get her name brand cute clothes for less than I would pay in the store, which really helps stretch our budget further. Due to this economy I was being selective with my baby puchases, until my aunt told me about these stores. I was not too convinced at the beginning, however I visited the two stores in Texas and it was a wonderful experience. There are items that are new, semi-used, but most are in new condition. The Tacoma store personal is very friendly and helpful and always willing to help you out. A friend told me about Once Upon A Child AFTER I had my son, however, when my girlfriend got pregnant, I told her about you ASAP. She has been so thankful. Every time she needs something/anything for her new baby boy's arrival, she checks here FIRST. She always calls to tell me what she found and at what a unbelievable pirce and in such great condition. I just gave her a baby shower the other day, and got about 80 percent of what I needed from ONCE UPON A CHILD. I am pregnant with my first boy and have just about outfitted him for at least his first 3 months thanks to this place! I never heard of Once Upon a Child until I was almost towards the end of my pregnancy with my first daughter and then my sister got pregnant and I found out its only an hour from where I live. It is my favorite baby store I spend about 50 dollars everytime I go and end up with a couple bags full.."mainly shoes" I'm a shoe person... AND SOCKS! This is my favorite store and u find baby girl dresses for less than 3 dollars and they are in perfect condition and name brand also.. everything is cheap and very reasonable.. very nice service.. I used to hit up the yard sales until I found Once Upon A Child and now I don't have to worry about wasting money on stuff that might be too small for my babies.. when I can buy cheap in the winter time too!

I went with her a few times and instantly got hooked. I love getting my niece leapfrog toys but I earn about minimum wage and really can't afford them full price. The first time my mom took me with her to Once Upon a Child I found leapfrog tag junior with two extra books for about half what I would have had to pay at Target. I bought a play mat and a portable swing (both new Fisher Price Themes). We were astonished when our first grandchild was born at 28 weeks gestation. We were amazed at how tiny she was. We were absolutely blown away when we began to search for clothing to fit her perfect little 2 lb. 12 oz. body and discovered that premie clothing is either nearly non existant or so expensive you can barely afford to buy one outfit let alone a whole wardrobe (esp. having been laid off from work just a few weeks prior to this unexpected arrival).
 
I happened upon Once Upon a Child last Saturday evening just before closing. I figured it was a shot in the dark as I had been shopping all day and only found two outfits that were both cute and within my budget. I was absolutely thrilled to find a huge selection of premie clothing. I really didn't have time to shop that night because as I stated it was nearly closing time, however, it didn't take me long to collect nearly every girl premie outfit in the store and head to the register. I bought some of the cutest outfits and all for about $50.00. She now has an outfit for everyday of the week (well actually for everyday of three weeks but who's counting). I was so worried about how we were going to clothe our little angel but thanks to Once Upon a Child she will be the most beautiful but also the most stylish baby in our NICU!! Now I'm off to see what else is available at our local Once Upon a Child. It's only 9:30 a.m. so I'll probably spend well over my original bill of $50.00 today!! I really love Once Upon A Child. I can get the name brands that I like for my kids at a "very" discounted price. I lived in Mississippi for 6 years and there wasn't a Once Upon A Child anywhere close. My husband and I would drive all the way to Illinois just to go shopping at the store for the children.We would travel over 400 miles a couple of times a year but it was well worth it. I found out about Once Upon A Child about 7 years ago. My son now 5 loves to go into Once Upon A Child and play in the designated play area while Mommy sells and shops. I usually bring in his clothes and sell them and shop while I am there. When I discovered that Once Upon a Child would buy my gently used baby and children's clothing, I was happy to have the opportunity to sell some of the piles of clothing I had! They gave me the option of receiving money on the spot or purchasing clothes with my credit. The first time I chose the cash, and it was more than I thought! They were very fair in the prices they paid for my clothes and I was thrilled! The second time I brought clothing in, I decided to look around and ended up using my in-store-credit on many outfits for my toddler Harloe, my 8 year-old Savannah, and my 11 year-old Presley. The clothes were clean, stain-free, and in style. I plan on going there this week to get a few winter items to get me my children through the last month of winter. It is nice to not have to go pay full-price for clothing that my kids only will wear for another month or so. If your child grows a size during winter or summer-don't spend money on full price clothing just to get them through the rest of the season. Once Upon A Child  is a lifesaver. Thank you!

I recently went to the Grand Opening for Once Upon A Child in Novi on 2/6/2010 and I was amazed. I originally went for a walker for my almost 6 month old son. I couldn't believe some of the things they had in there, I couldn't help myself and had to get clothes, toys ect., for all under $50. I originally went into the Once Upon A Child on route 10 in Dover Delaware and was extremely impressed of the quality of customer service I received. I was equally impressed that the store also sold new items not used and unopened for a reasonable price. Once the other location opened up in Dover I started shopping there and I must say it keeps getting better. I was in town with my friends and heard the Great Bag Sale going on at the Once Upon A Child store in Niles, OH. When we got there on Saturday it was packed with many people and it looked like they where giving away free stuff but they weren't they were giving great prices on great clothes.

I was so excited that I called a few more of my friends and met them at the mall to go shopping with me at the store for some great deals come on I got $347 for only $30 now thats a great deal. The service was great and the sales associate was outstanding he helped me find many cool clothes for my kids and also recommended other items which of cousre I bought and my kids love them (sippy cups). He knew what I wanted and when it was done he had me laughing so hard that I couldn't help but tell all of my other friends about the store. Next time I'm in town I will stop in to take advantage of the great atmoshpere there.

It started back in 1993 when I was a foster parent in Sacramento, CA. I got my first call for a newborn baby and I had to pick him up from the hospital. I had absolutely nothing except generic onesies and diapers, a carseat and some hand me down sleepers. A lady at the foster agency told me all about Once Upon A Child and from then on, you guys had become my favorite place to shop for all my children who came in my home.

This included my own child. The clothing was always in excellent shape, smelled clean, never stained and I was always greated with a "hello Tracy, how you doing today? Got any new little ones in your family?" I felt like I was part of your family. This went on for years. Now my foster parenting is over and I married my high school boyfriend who is raising his two young daughters ages 12 and 9 and I just went through all their drawers and closets to get rid of things that don't fit. I am going to visit my oldest child in Sacramento and I am headed off to Once Upon A Child to take in 2 very large bags of girls clothing to either sell or trade. It seems to be the highlight of my trip....seems trivial, but for me it's a memory and I can't wait to get there. Since there is such a variety of things that are needed with a newborn, I go to Once Upon A Child and stock up with a variety for the baby shower gifts. That way, I know the mom-to-be won't have too much of the same thing, she'll at least have a variety. And with the prices of Once Upon A Child, I can easily do that and I'll put all the items in a large gift bag or in a large basket. My daughter, Bethany Lynne, was born on July 25, 2008. We love your store and especially love all your sales and the customer appreciation card too! I buy most of Bethany's clothes there and some toys too. She loves to go shopping with me and help pick out stuff. She is 17 months old now and can walk and she likes to run around the store away from mommy and give me a heart attack, LOL. My mom comes to visit before Christmas every year and we go around to some of the nice higher-end resale shops in the Chicago area. We always visit the Once Upon A Child on Harlem and Foster. My son is 10 and I particularly like that they have so many items for boys his age, as well as things for babies, toddlers and tweens. My mom shops for my little nieces while I hit the boys section. This year we found two great sweaters for him from Ecko and H&M in brand new condition as well as new jeans and very cool new t-shirt. He is starting to be conscious of his 'image' and getting more picky about what he likes to wear and getting such a great deal on stylish clothes for him was terrific. The staff are always super friendly and helpful as well and the store just always seems to be a busy, cheerful place!

I went on opening day and the place was a zoo. I was pregnant with my son at the time and completly overwhelmed by everything. I had no idea what to get, what was good and what wasn't. I wanted to cry being surrounded by so many differnt products. A sales associate noticed me and came over and asked if she could help. I explained my situation to her and she was fantastic. She shopped with me and helped me pick out some great items. They allowed me to test the swings and see what I liked, open and close the pac n play so I could find what worked best for me. Unfortunately I was unable to find one, immediately, but one afternoon I stopped (when I really should not have) and there it was. I paid $55 for it and it's in perfect condition. The store in Carmel, IN had 2 cribs we could afford and Cecilia, the salesperson, was extremely helpful in showing me how to take them apart and even helped load them in the truck! But it wasn't until I became a Grandmother in March 2009, that I started shopping in your store here in Terre Haute, IN. Wonderful inventory, well stocked and so affordable! We even got online, when I was in Houston, TX the week Matthew was born, and we found a store location and bought quite a bit there, too. In this picture, Matthew is wearing a hat, polo shirt, khaki pants that were all purchased in a Once Upon A Child store store as well as the ExcerSaucer that he's playing in. The "saucer" cost me $18.00, retail they are selling for $120. This has without a doubt become my favorite store to shop. We even found a great little halloween costume for about $4.00 and regular retail would have been $24.00.

A few years ago I found a resale shop named "Once Upon A Child". It is wonderful. I do not have grandkids of my own so I routinely "Adopt" my kids friend's children. I can purchase many items for a fraction of the cost of retail. I usually "Adopt A Child" at Christmas and really enjoy the items and savings I receive at this shop. I recently participated in the Salvation Army and Marine Corps "Toys for Tots" distribution and told all the parents about the upcoming Grab Bag Sale at "Once Upon a Child". The Cape Coral store is wonderful. I like my daughter to wear name brand clothes and usually shop at high end stores. That has changed greatly since I found Once Upon A Child, WOW. I find the greatest deals and some clothes have tags on them! I can't get enough of it. I could spend the whole day in there. I founds Barbie's in perfect condition for a fraction of department or toy store prices. I am totally addicted to this store. I had always been raised in a wealthy family, so I never, ever thought I would be shopping in thrift stores, BUT to my surprise I am soooo happy that I did. When you can buy a gap sweater for $6.50, at Once Upon a Child, there is no stress. If they ruin it, oh well, it is less than $10 to buy a new one. I recently discovered this place and I am so thankful I did. My biggest love for the store is that it smells so good. Buying from Once Upon A Child, it is just like buying from the large retail stores. One of my neighbors told me I should go to this resale store. I have never shopped second hand stores. WOW I sure was impressed upon entering this store. I love this store - I can't ever just walk in and walk out without spending a minimum of $50.00! Every time i come in contact with anyone that is going to be having a baby I always tell them about Once Upon A Child. If it was not for this store I don't think that I would have all of the things I need for my nephew when he spends the night. I've been shopping at the Once Upon A Child in M'boro, TN now since my only grandson was 6 mos old! He's now turning 3 & has spent more time living w/ us than I ever imagined. Needless to say, we've bought all his clothes since 6 mos. There's no way we could've afforded this had it not been for your stores. I turned around and used that money the following weekend and got adorable designer clothes for my daughters. I wanted to buy my 3 year old daughter a snow outfit early this year because I am expecting in January, and didn't want to wait til the snow came, I would be to big!!! So I tried 5 different stores, and nowhere had anything, no coats, snowpants, only hats and mittenns. So I tried Once Upon A Child, and not only did they have a selection on what I was looking for, but I walked out of that store with a 2 piece jacket and snowpants by Lands End, and I paid less than $20!!! I was in heaven. I can't stand walking through the mall and looking at all the cute clothes in the retail stores that I would just love to dress my son in knowing that I can't afford them. I was told about this store from my neighbor and what a great store it is. I was looking for a jumperoo for my son, but every other used store I went for wanted over $50 for one. I went to Once Upon a Child and got a nice jumperoo for only $30. It is in brand new condition and my son loves it. They even let you try the toys out before you buy them, they will even put batteries in it also. I love this store and Im even heading there today to sell some of my sons toys he no longer plays with, so I can buy him some bigger clothes. We all know how fast babies grow and this store is a great help.

Ok here's my experience. Every time I go into Once Upon a Child I walk out spending less than $50 and have oodles of clothes and usually a piece of furniture whether it be a stroller, pack n play or even a car seat. I'm a new grandmother so having duplicate things is easier than having my daughter lug everything from her house, but it's not always cheap. When my daughter told me about Once Upon a Child, I bought so many clothes for my grandson that day and he hadn't even been born yet. Now I've been buying friends clothes for their children and I'm the talk of the party when I show up with 10 outfits for the same price they paid for just 1. Do I love this store? Oh yes I do!!!!!

Well, where do I begin. I went to visit family in Superior Township, MI and my Aunt just bragged about this store and here I am doing the same. Never had I been to a second hand store, let alone one for children. This fall came so fast and I wondered how and where I was going to get the money to be able to provide a whole new wardrobe for my 3 year old. I would get sick to my stomach everytime I would walk in to a store and buy an outfit for my 3 year old that cost just as much for one of my outfits. Yes, I have expensive taste, but why does my wallet have to suffer just because I want my daugther to look nice?? My Aunt brought me to Once Upon a Child and I am hooked. I was able to walk out w/ two huge bags of clothes which came out to be 5 loads of laundry, without the bad feeling...Some items still had tags on them and shoes never worn and mostly everything were high end brand names that I would refuse to buy because of their prices. So not only is she set for fall, winter and spring, Mommy is happy and my 3 year old has never looked better in her new clothes. I am so very thankful for having been turned on to Once Upon A Child. Totally hooked!!!

People always ask me what do I do with my kids clothes?  I usually give it away, then a friend told me to try selling it. So I tried it and I was so suprised they paid me $247.00 for a my clothes. Then I found lots in the store that were gently used - some still have tags on it. The books and toys are so cheap I never had a hard time saying no to my kids. :} I went back there a few times selling clothes and buying some more. I really enjoy it because it is like swapping stickers when you were a kid. It is also teaching recyling to your kids.

I stumbled on Once Upon A Child after hearing about it from a friend a year ago. I was in Heaven in that place! I loved it, I got so many good deals. My 2yr old son was in need of a summer wardobe and I was broke. I spent $7 and got him set for the whole summer, I think about 17-20 pieces and dress clothes too. I love Once Upon A Child. My daughter was born 3 months premature (May 14, 2009) and was only weighing 1lb and 6oz. We didn't have any baby clothes to fit her tiny body when she came home. My husband's hours had been cut at work and we really couldn't afford to shop and buy anything new out of the department stores.

The week the hospital released my daughter we needed to go buy her an outfit to come home in. So over the weekend, I had a friend take me to Once Upon A Child. Oh boy did I pick the right time to go. They were having a huge sale. They had a whole rack of baby clothes for only a $1.00. I felt like I just had won the jackpot. Not only was I able to get my daughter preemie clothes, I was able to get her other sizes as well. I spent $50 that day and walked out with bags of clothes for my daughter. I was happy that I even found her a cute outfit to wear home from the hospital. Besides the great bargains the customer service was also excellent. I am an avid Once Upon A Child customer! I absolutely LOVE this store!! My son is 11 weeks old and just about EVERY piece of clothing he has (not including the gifts) are from Once Upon A Child. The prices are fair and my son grows out of everything so fast I can't keep up! I just stock up on larger clothing from Once Upon A Child whenever I get a chance! When I lived in California I would travel to all three stores in my surrounding area in a day. They are 15-30 miles apart! I make it an all day event!! I remember spending $50 and leaving with TWO large bags full of clothes (Carters, GAP, Gymboree) before my son was born when the store had their 50% off yellow tags and 30% off green tag sale! With the economy the way it is right now it's difficult to go to department stores because I usually can only come out of there with one item or maybe an outfit, depending on the price. Once Upon A Child is one of my favorite stores! I am pregnant with my second child and I have already started buying things from Once Upon A Child. I go to buy clothing at any regular store and I get sticker shock at the prices. Once Upon A Child always has a huge selection, way more than they have at any other store, and everything is in great condition, for a fantastic price. I also love their 10 for 10 sales, I always get the best clothes at even better prices. However the best thing I ever bought at Once Upon A Child was a Radio Flyer bouncy horse. They sell for $80 new and I only paid $20!! It was in perfect condition and my daughter loves it!

I LOVE Once Upon A Child!!!! My husband and I had our first child in February this year and I wish I would have known about the store before she was born. We spent over $500 in Babies'R'Us before she was born getting misc., stuff she needed and we spent maybe $200 on maternity clothes for me. Had I known I would have gotten all my clothes and most of Tessa's stuff at your stores instead of paying an arm and a leg at the other stores. I also love that our closest store carries a lot of toys. I think you can spend just as much money on baby toys as you can on clothes. We live close to Missouri so I have also been to a couple stores there and it has always been worth the drive. My husband and I plan to have more kids soon so I haven't sold any of my daughters clothes yet, but if we have a boy next I am definitely going to Once Upon A Child. This was the first year I took my children (9 and 10) to the store for school clothes shopping. I'm usually a very thrifty shopper anyway and can come out with a lot of clothes under $100 a child. My kids went and had a blast themselves "digging for gold" for clothes. In the end, they each walked out w/ TWO HUGE bags of clothes that they loved and picked out themselves for under $75 each ! I was able to buy more clothes than I ever have. I'm also expecting my 3rd child and have found the maternity clothes at the Fort Collins store to be GREAT with affordable prices. I just wanted to say how much I love the Manchester, Connecticut store.I have been shopping there for about a year, since my first son was born. I love the employees, they are so kind and always willing to help. At first I was very skeptical about shopping at a used clothing store but it was all worth it in end. I just went to Cambridge's bag sale, We stuffed 3 bags for $30.00 and she told us our total before the sale price was over $330.00! What a deal!  I didn't really look at the clothes well we just grabbed clothes for that price, when I came home and looked at our purchases, nothing was wrong with the clothing, no stains, no rips, no missing buttons, and they were almost all name brand clothes. I also sell my children's outgrown clothes and am always happy with how much they pay me. I registered to be a contact on their website and received an email telling me that there would be a huge sale at certain hours of the day. My sister and I went at the latest hours of the day, which was after 4:00 pm where we could catch the biggest percentage off, which was 70%. So as I’m walking around with tons of clothes on one arm and hangers on the other, I’m wondering exactly how much I’m going to save and how come I have the most stuff in my hands. I felt a little crazy after awhile and decided to go check out. I felt a little embarrassed cuz I had so much stuff but I went for it. About mid way into ringing my items I had to stop the clerk and ask how much we were at and she said $92.13, my eyes got buck, then she said that’s before the sale so she kept ringing. Finally at the end she told me my total was $66.27, I was ecstatic. I found so many dresses for my daughter and that’s what she needed the most. I also found a lot of jean shorts and even some nice black leather sandals. Everything I got was right on time and by me being a young, single-parent it’s not that easy to get seasonal clothes right away so……….I thank God for places like this because some of us out here really need it.

Went to the Once Upon A Child store in Minnetonka today for their Grab Bag sale for the clearance items, my total for everything in my bag came to $350.00 and I only had to pay $10.00. When I got home I checked to see what estimated total was for everything I bought and it ended up being $0.16 per item. I was very happy about this and plan to attend the next grab bag sale and everyone else after that. I can feel at ease if my child never wears something cause I know I paid next to pennies for the items.

I am an avid Once Upon A Child shopper, but had never sold anything. My husband and I decided to do a deep clean on our kid's room before the first birthday of the year. We ended up with 2 huge rubbermade tubs full of stuff our children had outgrown or were tired of playing with. I took the stuff up to the store and was told it would be about 30 minutes. I ran some additional errands and returned to the shop. My stuff was done, and I was told I would be receiving quite a large amount of money. I was talking to the cashier about my daughter's upcoming birthday. I told her I was looking for a certain style of doll house and was going to use the money to use on the gift. She looked at me and told me that they had just put the same style of doll house on the floor and took me to see it. I bought it immediatly! Because I had the "birthday girl" with me, the cashier recognized my need for additional help. Once upon a Child is AMAZING! My boy/girl twins are 2 right now and I can't tell you how much I've shopped there! With twins, you need multiples of everything, clothes, toys, shoes! With Once Upon A Child, I can give them as much as I could if I had only one at time. I'm amazed at how many times I leave there with clothes that still have the tags on them! Every time I've needed something specific, I check there first and am never disappointed! I've bought double strollers, tricycles, and just recently a HUGE outdoor playhouse. Those are things I'd never be able to buy new. Once Upon A Child lets you give your kids the childhood they deserve, regardless of your income. Everyone comments on how cute their clothes are and how well dressed they are all the time. I'm all too excited to tell everyone where they came from! Also, being able to reuse these items, instead of them going into a landfill, is the best lesson to teach my children.
